One of the things I am very excited to be sharing with you all this month is my soul biography. When I was told a videographer wanted to volunteer his time to create a soul biography of me and my mission I was not sure what to expect. Probably a good thing because it was definitely not what I thought it would be. About three hours of filming uncovered parts of who I am that are too often walled up and ignored in the back corners of my mind. I was pushed to be completely vulnerable and open to a complete stranger. There were tears and laughs. I allowed myself to feel things I all too often push aside. This video shows the not so tough, not so roll with the punches and smile through the pain side of me. The core of me. I suppose that’s why it’s called a soul biography. I have yet to see the final project as it is still in editing. Yet, I have no doubt Andreas will create something with the film that will allow my readers to know me and understand why I do what I do.
“People ask me ‘what is a Portrait film?’ I say it is the capturing of the warrior we all carry inside.” – Andreas Andreou
“There is something that can be loved in everything and everyone. I think this is something that is missing from our world today. Everything the world needs could come if everybody loved a little bit more.” – Kianna Scott
